Wondering what the Brain Vacation is all about? Get your answers here!

WHAT: Brain Vacation is a FREE reading program for teens where you try to read 8 or more library books or for 10 or more hours.

WHEN: Brain Vacation runs over summer vacation. Sign up any time between Saturday, June 15 and Saturday, August 10 and submit your reading log by Saturday, August 17.

WHO: Any teen with a Cape Breton library card (even visiting teens with temporary cards) can join. You must be between the ages of 12 and 18 and you can’t also be signed up for GO! (the summer reading program for younger kids)

WHERE: Sign up at your nearest Cape Breton Regional Library branch  click here to see a list of branches.

WHY: What’s in it for you? Well, if you finish your 8 books or 10 hours and submit your reading log, you’ll win a FREE book or graphic novel plus a chance to win an eReader and other cool prizes. The more you read, the more chances you have to win.
